Implantology

About the treatment

Replacing a missing tooth with a small, screw-shaped implant is one of the gentlest forms of tooth replacement. Neighboring teeth are not damaged and a natural load is placed on the bone when chewing. In addition, implant restorations are usually much easier to clean than traditional bridge restorations, which prevents inflammation of the gums and bone in the long term.

Procedure

Precise planning with digital volume tomography (DVT)

Before treatment begins, we use digital volume tomography (DVT) in our practice to create a precise, three-dimensional image of your bone situation. This technology, known as "3D X-ray", enables high-precision planning of the implant position in the bone. As a result, time-consuming, invasive and costly bone augmentation treatments can often be avoided.

Individual treatment and cost plan

Based on the DVT results, we create an individual treatment and cost plan that includes all the necessary treatment steps. During a detailed consultation, we will explain your findings and the planned steps and advise you on the procedure.

Outpatient oral surgery

We perform oral surgery on an outpatient basis in our practice. Aftercare and monitoring of the healing process take place during the final check-up appointments.

Advantages of dental implants

  • Gentle treatment: preservation of the adjacent teeth and natural loading of the bone.

  • Better cleanability: implant restorations are more hygienic and prevent inflammation.

  • Präzise Planung: Durch 3D-Röntgen (DVT) können kostspielige und invasive Eingriffe vermieden werden.
